Maintenance

To keep your hair extensions looking flawless, regular maintenance is required. Hair must be re
installed every 6-10 weeks depending on your hair growth and needs. Starting at $200+

Keratin Bonds

Keratin Bond Extensions are a strand-by-strand method designed to create soft, seamless volume in areas where traditional wefts may not reach. Each extension is bonded to small sections of your natural hair using a keratin bond that moves naturally and blends beautifully. This method is perfect for adding fullness around the hairline, nape, or for creating overall volume. At Coastal Strands, Keratin Bonds are most commonly used as a custom enhancement to weft installations or as a volume only service for clients who love their length but want thicker, fuller hair.

Weft Enhancement

Weft Enhancement + Keratin Bonds

This package combines the fullness of hand tied or micro wefts with strategically placed Keratin Bonds to perfect the blend. Keratin Bonds are placed in areas that are difficult to fill with wefts such as: Around the face and hairline, The sides/temple area, The nape of the neck.

This technique creates the most seamless, natural looking result while maintaining comfort and flexibility. It is ideal for clients who want added fullness and coverage in finer or shorter areas.

Best for clients receiving weft extensions who want the most natural blend possible.

Volume Install

This service is designed for clients who love their natural length but want more density and fullness throughout their hair. Individual Keratin Bonds are placed strategically throughout the head to build volume without adding noticeable length. Because the extensions are installed strand-by-strand, the result is extremely natural with lightweight movement.

Best for clients with fine or medium density hair who want fuller hair without lengthening their hair.

Installation starting at $1,200-$1,500+

Pricing varies depending on the amount of hair needed to achieve your desired result.

Maintenance

Keratin Bond extensions are designed to grow out naturally with your hair and typically last 3–4 months with proper care. Unlike wefts, Keratin Bonds are not moved up. They are removed and replaced with new bonds at the end of their wear period. To maintain the health of your hair and extensions we recommend professional removal and reinstall every 3–4 months, using professional extension safe haircare products, brushing daily with an extension brush, sleeping with your hair in a loose braid or ponytail. Proper maintenance is essential to ensure both your natural hair and extensions stay healthy.

Before You Arrive

To ensure the best results, please arrive with:

Clean, dry hair
No heavy products or oils
No ponytails, braids, or clip-ins

This allows me to properly assess your natural hair and ensure the most secure, comfortable install possible.

When You Arrive

You’ll be welcomed into the salon space and given time to settle in. We’ll review your consultation notes, confirm your desired look, and finalize your color and length before beginning your service.
